Gas Flue Inspection Panel
Gas Flue Inspection Access Panel

Specifically designed and tested to comply with the Gas Safe Regulations, this panel provides a high quality robust opening solution to inspect flues installed in voids. In addition to the two sizes required by the legislation, The Access Panel Company can manufacture compliant hatches to any size.
Since January 2013 Gas Engineers must be able to inspect the full length of flue from the boiler. In many circumstances this is not a problem. However in apartment buildings and flats where space saving advances have allowed boilers to be fitted in wall spaces the whole flue may not be visible for inspection. In these circumstances an access panel is required for inspection.
Frame Options
There are two frame options for the Gas Flue Access Panel. A beaded frame type (SBF) with perforated flange to key into the surrounding membrane. This is used where the surface has yet to be skimmed or tape and jointed. Or the picture frame (PF), where the solid flange sits on the surface of the wall or ceiling. This covers the cut edge of the aperture and is used when the surface has already been finished and decorated.
We are able to provide powder coated finishes in the full range of RAL colours upon request – additional costs may apply.

Our patented SLIK ‘Spring Loaded Invisible Keyhole’ system seamlessly blends the panel surface across the face of the keyhole making it almost invisible.
The keyhole cover is pushed aside as the key is inserted into the lock and springs back into place when the key is withdrawn.
The SLIK removes the need for keyhole caps that can go missing or become grubby over time.
